In order to prevent any potential issues with new updates, we keep a copy of your website on the separate environment where we test these updates. Only after we are sure that the updates will work perfectly and not harm your website in any way we will push the updates on your live website.

Why does my website need ongoing maintenance?

Do you support websites not built by S-Tier Dev?
Yes. We maintain WordPress websites built by other agencies or developers, as long as the site is in a maintainable state.
Will updates break my website?
We test the update process on the staging environment(copy of your website on another server) so any potential issues will not affect your live website.
After all goes well on the staging environment, we will create a backup of the live site and only then apply the updates to it.
How do you handle backups and restores?
We create regular daily backups and store them securely. If something goes wrong, we can quickly restore your website.
Backups are kept off-server, so even if the entire server crashes and your content is deleted, it is safe with us, and we can restore it any time.
What happens if my website goes down?
We monitor uptime 24/7. If your site goes offline, we’re alerted immediately and begin investigating the issue.
Do you make content changes?
Yes. Maintenance hours can be used for content edits, depending on your plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts.
Is hosting included?
Hosting is not included, but we work with your existing hosting provider and recommend improvements and migration if needed.
